Daniel Aubrey Drever, age 76 of Knoxville passed away March 21, 2014. He was born July 8, 1937 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was stationed in S. Quadrons attached to the USS Constellation and based at NAS North Island in San Diego, California and he was also stationed in Millington, Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Navy for 24 years and retired in 1977 as a Master Chief Avionics. He then continued service to the Navy as a civilian Federal employee at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington for another 15 years. In retirement, he and his wife lived in Tarpon Springs, Florida and Knoxville, Tennessee where he enjoyed planning their trips and traveling around the world. He is survived by his wife, Julianne Conway Drever, daughter Debra Jones and husband Jeffery of Mooresville, NC, son, Keith Drever of Tampa, FL, two grandchildren, Sarah Keating and Mara Drever. A memorial service will be held at Ft. Rose Crans Cemetery in San Diego, California later this coming summer. Announced by Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
