Dan E. Jackson

Dan E. Jackson, age 68, of Knoxville passed away on July 27, 2018. Dan retired from J&J Machine and Tool Inc. after 42 years of service with the company. He was a member of East Sunnyview Baptist Church. He served in the Army Reserve. He was preceded in death by parents, Prudy and Jake Jackson; mother and father-in-law, Floyd and Beulah Hubbs. Dan is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda (Hubbs) Jackson; son, Jeff (Susanne “7”) Jackson; granddaughter, Callie Grace Jackson; brother, Bob (Mickey) Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to Smokey Mountain Hospice for the excellent care they provided. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Monday August 6, 2018, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
