Dallen Jo

Dallen Jo, born October 11, 2023, passed away March 22, 2024, at 5 months old. God called home a perfect angel when he called Dallen Jo. He was light in darkness, a smile that could cheer up anyone. Dallen Jo changed so many lives in his short little life and we will always be thankful for the time we had. 

Dallen is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Roscoe and Miva Smith. Survived by, mother, Mariah Hanson, father, Allen Lay; big brother, Jax James Hanson, grandparents, Robert and Cheryl Smith; great-grandmother, Sharon Byrge "Mamaw", honorary grandmother, Opal Van Winkle,; uncles: Armando Rodriguez, Ethan Smith, Hank Smith, Wesley Van Winkle and James Van Winkle; great uncle, J.T. Byrge, aunts: Betty Rodriguez, Jamie Van Winkle, Cathy Richards, Ashlyn Rodriguez, Amelia Rodriguez, Haley Jo, Miley Paige Van Winkle, Kaylen Van Winkle, Jena Hamilton, and cousin Paige Moore;  great-aunt, Carolyn Moore, Camille Fritz; cousins, Kim Melton and Tammy Gordon, special friend, Jeffrey Whitson. 

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, with a service to follow, Pastor Richard Chesbro officiating. Family and friends will leave in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00 PM interment. Pallbearers: Robert Smith, Armando Rodriguez and Ethan Smith.  "We love you Dally, Dally Jo, we love you so, sweet baby."
