Cyrus Laymond Ford

Cyrus Laymond Ford “C.L” age 77 of Knoxville passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021. A veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from Boeing and also spent more than 20 years working for Robertshaw Controls. C.L. was a member of Emory Pike American Christian Church and was an avid car enthusiast. Preceded in death by his parents Carl and Atlee Ford; step-mother Eunice Ford; son Anthony Ford; brothers Rev. Lawrence Ford and J.L. Ford; step-brother Steve Derryberry. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Ford; daughter Missy Brown (Mark); grandchildren Amanda Ford, Hunter McRae, Brie McRae, Josie McRae, Parker Good; brother Carl Ford (Gwen); step-sister Linda Welch; sisters-in-law Evelyn Ford and Mary Drummond; brothers-in-law Dennis Warwick (Shirley), Robert Warwick (Brenda). Friends may come by at their convenience on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 9:00 AM-3:30 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will gather the same day at 4:45 PM at Emory Pike American Christian Church cemetery, 4822 E. Emory Rd for a 5:00 PM graveside service officiated by Kevin Roberts, Mike Atkins, and Tyler Cunningham.
