Cynthia Elliott Ludwig

Cynthia Lorraine Elliott Ludwig, age 56, of Powell, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 4, 2025, following an aggressive battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a courageous woman with a beautiful soul and an unshakable faith in the Lord. She has been a member of Southside Baptist Church since childhood. She was a great wife, mother, friend and a Mimi to three Grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart. 

Cindy loved to travel as much as possible and often spent vacations searching for the next one. She traveled to many parts of the world experiencing God's creation. 

Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bud and Mayme Greene; Burl and Ruth Elliott, her father, Tom Elliott and brother-in-law, Scott Nicley.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 40 years, Greg Ludwig; children, Scott Ludwig and Matt (Lauren) Ludwig; grandchildren, Nora Ludwig, Oaklyn Stepp, and Lennon Ludwig. She also leaves her mother, Marge Elliott; siblings, Jeff Elliott, Karen (Jerome) Jarnigan and Sonja Nicley, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. 

The family will receive friends Friday, January 17, 2025 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm with a celebration of life service to follow at 7:00pm at Southside Baptist Church, 1620 W. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN with Rev. Luke Wilkerson presiding.
