Corey Daniel Whaley, 33, entered his heavenly home on May 1, 2021 and is now in the arms of the Father. He graduated Halls High School in 2005. Preceded in death by father Greg Whaley, grandfather Glen Whaley, Papaw Bob Watkins, uncle Mitch Whaley. Survived by loving mother, Tracie Yvette Smelcer-Sexton, brother Kelson Edwards, grandparents Doug and Pauline Jett, Bill and Willene Smelcer and Syd Watkins, aunts and uncles Teresa Hipshire (Ken), Tammy Keith (Eddie), Rusty Smelcer (Stacey), Jamie Jett (Kelly), Teresa Jett Huebotter, Lee Mackie (Stephanie), Larry Mackie (Karla), several cousins. Family will receive friends 12:00pm-1:30pm Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Eddie Myers officiating.
