Cora Lee Clarkson

Cora Lee Corum Clarkson, age 84, of Knoxville, TN passed away Saturday February 5th, 2022 at Park West Medical Center. Many will remember Cora as a feisty little lady who loved playing the slot machines in Cherokee NC. She worked hard and was a great provider to her son, David, as a single parent. Many will remember her time working for several years as a waitress at the Blue Circle and the Tic Toc Restaurant. She was also employed at the Palm Beach Mill Outlet and Walmart prior to her retirement. Cora was preceded in passing by her mother, Lottie B. Walls, her half-brother, Billy S. Walls, and her granddaughter, Taylor Marie Corum. She leaves behind her husband, William Clarkson. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, David (Beatrice) Corum of Lenoir City, TN; grandchildren, Justin (Lauren) Corum, and Dylan Corum, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, including special cousin and friend, Mary Castleberry, who was always there for her in numerous ways.
