Connie Sue (Bell) Wyrick, daughter of the late B.C. Bell and Betty Sue (Randolph) Wood slipped the surly bonds of earth on July 17, 2018 and now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She fought the good fight and is now at peace. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on January 2, 1942 where her father taught typing and shorthand in High School. She attended White Pine Elementary in Jefferson County, Park Junior Middle School, and graduated from East High School in Knoxville in May 1959, then attended UT. Connie leaves to remember and rejoice in her victory, her husband of 58 years Fred D. Wyrick; daughter Angela Sue (Wyrick) Brewer (Mark) of Dallas, GA.; son David Neal Wyrick (Kim) of Coeburn, VA.; granddaughters Hayley (Wyrick) Bolinger (Austin) of Lynchburg, VA. and Hannah Wyrick of Coeburn, VA.; sisters Elizabeth Henry (Jack) of Chattanooga, Jane (Quinton) Jack (Howard) of Knoxville, Stephanie (Wood) Redwine (Bob) Blount Co., nieces Karen (Henry) Hughes (Joey) of Farragut, Kim (Henry) Carper (Kyle) of Texas; several cousins and very special friends Ron and Carolyn Seagle of Knoxville. The family would like to thank the third floor nursing and medical staff of Beverly Park Place for their professional and loving care of our wife and mother. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Friday July 20, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. In lieu of flowers Connie has requested donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, care of Kerbela Shriners in Knoxville, 865-573-1901. She has gone home, but never to be forgotten in our hearts.
