Clyde Ross Farmer, age 79, of Knoxville, passed away, Thursday, September 26, 2013. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and self employed Well Driller and former employee of Foote Mineral Co. Preceded in death by parents, Cliff and Reda Farmer and father in law and mother in law, Walter and Celia Elkins. Survived by wife of 58 years, Bernice, daughter, Sharon, son, Stanley, sister Opal Lett and husband Wendell, brother in law, Ray Elkins and wife Gladys, nephew, Steve (Jennifer) Lett, nieces, Ann (Don) McFarland, Jonie (Rich) Gannon, many great and great great nieces and nephews. Service, 8:00 p.m., Monday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Herman Faddis and Dr. Bruce Marston officiating. Family and friends will meet, 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery for interment at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Donnie McGinnis officiating. Pallbearers: Steve Lett, Don McFarland, Tyler Mulligan, Rich Gannon, John Shelton and Kyle Shell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
