Clyde Milas Welch

Clyde Milas Welch, age 72, of Knoxville, passed away on June 24, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Clyde was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Preceded in death by parents, Fowler and Velma Welch; brother, Jack Welch; mother-in-law, Bertie Sexton. He leaves behind wife of 54 years, Joyce Ann Welch; daugthers, Andrea Welch, Contessa Welch; son, Isaac Welch; grandchildren, Weston Welch, Christian Perkey, Alesha Reeves and Hay’le Muncey; sisters, loving sister Gail (Vince) Johnson, Elizabeth (Gary) Linder. Serving as pallbearers are Isaac, Jeff, John, Lawrence Welch, Vince Johnson, Terry and TJ Kitts. Honorary pallbearers Frank Welch and Gary Sherwood. Family and friends will meet 12:15PM Thursday at the funeral home and proceed to Ft. Sumter Community Cemetery for 1PM interment service. Family will receive friends 5-7PM Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Herbert Jones and Rev. Sharon Farruggia officiating.
