Clyde "Gene" Eugene Laycock

Clyde Eugene “Gene” Laycock, age 66 of Knoxville, TN passed away from this life at his home on Sunday, February 23, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones to go to his Heavenly home. Gene was a sheet metal foreman and an avid fisherman. He loved being on the lake.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Edith Laycock.

Gene is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dawn Laycock; son, Bradley (Audrey) Laycock; sisters, Kimberly Laycock and Tina (Ricky) Bull; brother, Darryl (Tammy) Laycock; stepdaughter, Monica (Gary) Holt; stepson, Michael Thompson; grandchildren, Austin Jones, Kailey and Brailyn Laycock, and Joshua Williamson.

Family and friends will meet at Roseberry Cemetery at 2:45PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025 for a 3:00PM graveside service, with Pastor John Lawson officiating. Pallbearers: Bud Perkey, Tony Pierce, Jeremiah Johnson, Larry Daughtery, Brailyn Laycock, and Don King.
