Clyde “Earl” Hall, Jr., age 59, of Knoxville, walked thru the gates of Heaven on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness. The good Lord felt like he had endured enough and took him home to be with Him. Earl was born in Knoxville to Clyde Earl Hall Sr. and Mildred Liford Hall. He was a graduate of Fulton High School and attended the University of Alaska. He worked as the Broker, Appraiser and Auctioneer of Hall Real Estate & Auction Co. and Appraisal Services. He was a member of the NAAR, KAAR, TAR, North Knoxville Sertoma Club, Knoxville Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, BRINK 640 Road Committee, Halls “Man of the Year” in 1995, Halls Business and Professional Club and TN State Auctioneer Commissioner. Earl had a heart of giving and service for his family, clients, and community. His kindness and presence will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Preceded in death by wife Carol Hall and mother Mildred Liford Hall. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Sharri; step children Eric and Ashley Benton, Jason and Ashley Benton; father Clyde E. Halls, Sr.; brother Kenny Hall; aunts Barbara Hall, Jean Hall, and Alice Liford; mother-in-law Kathleen Starnes; sister-in-law Beverly and Gary Laughlin; along with a host of many beloved family members and dear friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the nurses, physicians, and staff at Ft. Sanders RMC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for medical expenses. The family will receive friends 1-3PM Saturday April 23, 2016 at Sharon Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life to follow. Interment service will be held immediately afterward at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
