Cline M. Lindsey, age 85, of Halls Crossroads, departed this life for his eternal home on July 28, 2016, from complications of pneumonia. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Halls, and he was retired from Standard Knitting Mills with 40 years of service as a director. Cline was an avid fisherman and loved watching the Vols play football. Preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Margaret Lindsey; three brothers; and four sisters. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Wilma Bundren Lindsey; daughters, Linda Pearse of Knoxville, Donna Conard of Sherrill’s Ford, NC, and Teresa Datz of Knoxville. Cline dearly loved his grandchildren, Shanna Martin, Lyndsey Mulholland, Kylie Pearse, Aaron Datz, and Bailey Datz, also occupying a special place in his heart were his six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Gary Vandergriff officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Monday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 2:00 pm interment.
