Clara Regina Johnson Latham

Latham, Clara Regina Johnson, age 93 of Powell, born June 1, 1919 passed away peacefully Sunday, May 5, 2013 at NHC Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by husband, Fred and 4 children, infant Ellen, Joyce Lobetti, Freddy and Kyle Ronnie “Stink” Latham. Survived by 7 children, Dorothy Cook (Powell, TN), Betty Lee (Fayetteville, GA), Jean Faison (Jonesboro, GA), Evelyn Lingerfelt (Fayetteville, GA), Helen Wynegar (Powell, TN), David Latham (Powell, TN), and Gary Latham (Temple, GA); 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie Johnson (American Canyon, CA); several nieces and nephews. We would like to say a special Thank You to the staffs of: Dr. Mark Cloud; Tennova Wound Care; NHC Home Healthcare; Tennova North; NHC Knoxville; Jeanne Hooks; Personal Care Choices and Lifeguard Ambulance Service. Funeral service 7:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Preacher Ronald Gutherie officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Thursday at Bells Campground Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association. May Clara’s memory be a blessing to all. Family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
