Clara Mae Keeling, age 82 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord February 13, 2015. Member of Dante Church of God. She was a devoted pastor’s wife of 50 plus years and lived her life to serve God. Her passion was playing the piano and organ for church. Preceded in death by husband, Dr. Oliver C. Keeling Sr.; parents, Hezz and Cecil Stringfield Sr.; brothers, Henson, Hezz Jr., Lawson, and Bill Stringfield. Survived by son, Oliver Keeling, Jr. and wife Sandy; daughter, Sharon Carr and husband Wes; grandchildren, Jason Keeling, Justin Potter, Jordan Potter, Jeremy Potter, and T.J. Hoss; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew Keeling, Katie Hoss; several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Margaret and Laurie Ellison for their loving care, also UT Hospice. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow at 8:00 pm, Rev. David Snyder officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Monday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 2:00 pm interment.
