Cierra Jade Lacey

Cierra Jade Matthews Lacey, age 26 (April 25, 1995-April 2, 2022). Cierra was a bright shining light who brought beauty to many who knew her. She will always be with us in our hearts and minds. We thank her for the many wonderful times she gave us. She will be missed by many. She was the daughter of Christy Collins and Chris Matthews. She leaves her loved ones to grieve their loss, husband, Wesley Lacey, children: Amira Matthews and Rylan Matthews, her parents and stepfather Joe Collins. She leaves two sisters, Jessica Stalans and India Matthews, Grandmothers Peggy Atkins and Judy Matthews, Aunt Lisa Keefer, Uncle Bryan Matthews, and a host of aunts and cousins. Waiting for her were her grandfathers, Don Matthews and Ralph Atkins and several aunts. Cierra chose to be cremated so a celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Halls location of Mynatt Funeral Home (4131 East Emory Rd) with visitation from 2-4, with short service to follow. Cierra had a deep yearning for God and undoubtedly she is with Him. She never met a stranger, she was full of life and love for everyone she met. She had a love for animals, a trait she shares with Amira. She loved her children dearly. Her smile brought a smile to your face. She had a great sense of humor and a beautiful laugh that was contagious. We love you Cierra, always have, always will.
