Christopher Lee Parish, age 54 passed away with his wife by his side. Chris was an Avid UT fan and devout Christian. He loved the large family he inherited when he married Tammy. On a deeper level, Chris' kindness and undeniable faith shone brightly. His love for God and steadfast beliefs ensure his souls joyful transition leaving behind cherished memories as he is now healed with a new healthy body.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, Freddie Parish; granny, Emily Daugherty Davis; mother-in-law, Marion Hall; and sister-in-law, Carol Harris.
Survived by his loving wife, Tammy Hall Parish; mother and stepfather, Zora and Ralph Stewart; children, April and Bryan Chamberlain, and Stacey and Dustin Corum, and Dylan Parish; grandchildren, Emmalee Martin, Tyler Chamberlain, Connor Chamberlain, Karlie Corum, Keelie Corum, Kash Corum, and Hazel Parish; sisters and brothers by marriage, Pam Lane, Dennis and Carol Hall, Rickey Harris, Greg and Minnie Hall, Cathy Hall (Special buddy and sister-in-law), Joey Hall, Tony Hall, Rachel King and Jerry Lashley; and special cousin, Brad Parish. He also adored his little dogs, J.J. and Buttons.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with a funeral service to follow. Pastor Mike McKinney and Rev.
