Christopher Michael Grissom

Christopher Michael Grissom, age 35, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, March 12th, 2018. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by father Michael Grissom; grandfather Robert Norton; and grandparents Lonzo and Cleo Grissom. He is survived by mother Cathy Norton Grissom; grandmother Geraldine Norton; sister Sarah Grissom; aunts Robin Melton, Lucie Kelly; uncle Ernest Norton, wife Nancy, Janice Lamb, husband Steve; many cousins, extended family and special friends, whom he loved dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org, or a charity of your choice. Family and friends will meet 12:15pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Lynnhurst Cemetery for 1pm interment. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Josh Edwards, John Hale, John Woodham, Adam Shipley, Tyson Fields, and Eric Snoderly. Family will receive friends 5-7pm Thursday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 7pm, with Dr. Phil Young officiating.
