Christopher John Ross Willett, 25, passed away after a strong fight with Covid-19 on December 19, 2020. He was a proud employee of Ingles in Powell. He was an avid video gamer, and he loved his animals, and he greatly enjoyed reading. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Stephen L. Smith and his spouse Betty Smith, grandmother Ruth Slagter Smith, and uncle Johnny Willett. He is survived by mother Diana Smith Willett, father Randall W. Willett of Houston, sister Rebecca Willett of Houston, brother and sister Emma and Kaden Willett, uncle Bill Smith, aunt Janet Livesay, cousins Hunter (Jasmine) Livesay of Dixon, Deborah (Bill) Schmidt, Laura (Mary) Harris, Martha Harris, and many other cousins. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and Friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, December 23, at 10:45am for a 11:00am graveside service officiated by Pastor Shawn Angel. At all services, the family is requiring the use of masks and social distancing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christopher’s honor to Young Williams Animal Shelter.
