Cheryl Parton

Cheryl Anne Parton, 46, of Heiskell, TN joined her loving father Jesus Christ April 27, 2019 in the comfort of her home. She is preceded in death by her Father Ronald Miskell and Mother Barbra Miskell. Cheryl was a loving woman with many talents; from her majorette days in school; to creating wonderful floral arrangements many which included magnolias her favorite flower; and incredible ability to dance. She elected to give up her dream of dancing to raise a young son and start a family; all while completing her senior year of high school to receive her diploma. A few years later she would bring a daughter into the world. Cheryl was a devoted mom that while teaching many life lessons did not forget to include many unforgettable joyful moments; such as attempting to moon walk like Michael Jackson in the family kitchen, playing Mario cart on Nintendo, and many summer nights playing basketball or passing a football around. Not to mention how many animals she helped rescue and bring into the family over the years, even though she always swore, “this is the last one.” In her later years Cheryl would become very sick, but never gave up her faith in God. She always held tight to her bible even in times of uncertainty. One of favorite verses being Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” We love you Mom and are happy you finally have peace. Cheryl is survived by her two children Christian L. Parton and Andrea M. Parton; Grandson Sawyer Parton; Brother Michael Miskell; Sister Terry Conser; Niece Ashley Conser; and countless cousins. Cheryl is being laid to rest on at 1:00pm on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Bell’s Campground Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow.
