Cheryl Lea Weaver

Cheryl Lea Weaver (Chappell) born September 9, 1952, went to be with the Lord January 26, 2019. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She is a graduate of Holston High School Class of 70. She had a beautiful singing voice and was in the Holston High School Madrigals. She spent many years at Fountain City Ball Park, where she was an incredible softball player, playing well into adulthood. She was an avid reader and a lover of all animals. She is survived by her husband James Eugene Weaver to whom she has been married since May 7, 1972; also by her children, Matthew Weaver (Jessica, Journey, Chase, and Olivia), Cynthia Peacock (Michael, Reece, and Tyson), and Laura Kron (Stephen and Jackson) as well as her two brothers James and Joseph Chappell and many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, and in laws. The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 30th, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service on Thursday January 31st, 2019 at Greenwood Cemetery.
