Cheryl Jean Cox

Cheryl J. Lett Cox, The angels wrapped Cheryl in their arms on January 22, 2014. She now rest with her Lord and Savior. Cheryl was the third daughter born to Jack and Evelyn Lett (deceased.) She was the proud sister to Brenda K. Lett Steele, deceased and the proud sister to Jackie F. Lett Johnson, deceased. Cheryl was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and had a very strong bond with her savior. Cheryl was married to Gary Cox for 45 years, their separation came on June 23, 2010, when God called Gary home. She leaves here, her loving son’s, they were her life and she was always there for them, as they were for her. Troy Shannon Cox (Debbie) and Brandon Kevin Cox and special friend Cynthia Grant. Cheryl’s pride and joy Brody M. Cox her grandson whom she loved as much as life. “He is the man.” Cheryl leaves her loving sisters; all are very special to her. Cheryl thought of them as her “ANGELS”. Linda Lett, Debby Lett, Kathy Lett, Special brother-in-law David Johnson. Many Loving and special people have crossed Cheryl’s path and she has love for them all, Shanda and Jayden Loftis, Hayden Carter and Sonny and Shari. Best friend, Geri Blair. She also leaves nephews, Richie (Lisa), Michael (Ashley) and niece Tammy (Scott) all their children were very dear to her. Cheryl also enjoyed and loved visiting Gary’s cousin in South Carolina, Dora and Erma. Funeral service 4 pm with Chaplain Pam Neal officiaitng. Family and friends will meet 2:15 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City and proceed to Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment service at 3. The family suggests that you tithe extra to your church or charity of choice. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
