Charlotte Ruth Cox

Charlotte Ruth Huskey Cox, age 81, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, March 12th, 2018. She was an organist at Macedonia Baptist Church, had a passion for singing, and teaching Sunday school class. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially enjoyed her pets. Charlotte was preceded in death by husband Jay Cox, parents Henry and Hazel Huskey, and sister Barbara Ann Catlett. She is survived by step-daughter Sherry Pennington, husband Arvil, granddaughters, Candice Roseberry and Amanda Parton, 4 great-grandchildren, sister Shirley Carter, niece Teresa Walker, husband Jess, nephews David Carter, wife Delores, Marvin Carter, wife Missy, many special great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral home, Halls Chapel, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 for an 11:00 a.m. interment service at New Loyston Cemetery.
