Charlie Elmer “Pole Climber” Hatmaker, Jr., age 70, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 18, 2015. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching his chickens. Preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Edith Hatmaker; grandson, Jeffery Dalton Hatmaker; and stepdaughter, Kimberly Grissom. Survived by sons, Greg Hatmaker and fiancée Patsy Brockhagen, Jeffery (Rachel) Hatmaker; step children, Jason (Michelle) Ryder and Lori Ryder; grandchildren, Amber, Tyler, Erica, Morgan, Dalton, Maggie, Abigail, Jake, Peyton, Parker, and Ella; sisters, Wanda Williamson, Debbie (Ronnie) Humphrey; brother, Ronald Dean Hatmaker; special love and companion of 28 years, Teresa Hatmaker Shope; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Pastor Gerald Hatmaker and Brian Riggs officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for 2:00 pm interment.
