Campbell, Charles "Charlie" Winton, age 68 of Corryton, adored daddy and the most treasured grandpa, was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on, Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Awaiting this great reunion day was Charlie's sweetheart and the love of his life, Glenda Kay Campbell, his beloved wife. Also preceding his death are; parents Henderson & Ruth Campbell and sister Katherine Ann Campbell.
Surviving Charlie is his only child, spoiled to the core by her daddy, daughter Amanda "Mandi" Renee and her children, his favorite grandson, Carter, and favorite granddaughter, Carlee McNutt.
Charlie also leaves to mourn his passing, sister Brenda Flanigan (Eugene), and brother Dale Campbell; sister in law Linda Sands (Clayton) ;nephews, Michael Flanigan (Amanda) and Kevin Campbell; nieces, Christi Campbell and Melissa Maples (Larry); several great-nieces and nephews; special family members, Shirlene Miller (Tom); along with an extended amount of his family members of faith, and an immeasurable amount of friends.
Charlie was a faithful member and deacon of Clear Spring's Baptist Church in Corryton. Charlie will be remembered for the contagiousness behind his laughter & witty personality; his unwavering love & kindness toward others; and for loving the Lord with all his heart. He was certainly one in a million and will be so missed.
The family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Saturday, December 15th from 5:00-7:00pm with a funeral service to follow with Pastor Justin Pratt officiating. Family and Friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 1:45pm on Sunday, December 16th for a 2:00pm interment.
