Charles Ray Morgan

Charles Ray Morgan, age 77 of Rockford, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith. Proceeded in death by mother, Trula May Stoner; father, Martin Morgan; son Billy Ray Morgan; grandson, Tanner Lovell; sisters, Edith, Juanita, and Francis; and brothers, J.C., Tommy, Danny, Marian, and Bud. Survived by wife, Diane Lovell Morgan; sons, Richard Morgan, Alex (Angela) Lovell, and Travis (Samantha) Lovell; grandchildren, Trevor (Tisha) Morgan; Emma, Cooper, Gage, Robert, Rylan, Alexis, Kaylee, and Gunner; great grandchildren, Layla and Raylan; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Joe Godsey. Charlie was an Army veteran and retired mechanic. He enjoyed camping, fishing, being in the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 pm with Sandra Joan Willen officiating.
