Charles Otis Hunter

Charles O. Hunter, age 74 of Powell passed away April 18, 2013 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by parents, Otis Thomas Hunter and Opal Ethel (Messamore) Hunter. Survivors include wife, Lela Hunter; sons, Charles “Chuck” Hunter, Kenneth “Danny” Hunter, Darryl Hunter and wife Desiree, Jeffrey Hunter and wife Rose; daughters, Pamela Russell and husband John, Anna Worthington; step-son, William Thomas and wife Lorrie; step-daughters, Pamela Dyer and husband Rick, Sherri Conard and husband Shannon, Debbie Clausen, Vicki Taylor and husband Doug; along with 27 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held 8:00 PM, Sunday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Jim Pellom officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45 PM, Monday, at Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for interment at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
