Charles Lee Mcdaniel

April 3, 1946 — November 19, 2013

Charles L. (Charley) McDaniel Jr, age 67, of Corryton, went home to be with the Lord November 19, 2013. He was a former music director and Deacon at Graveston Baptist Church and North Acres Baptist Church. He was a current member and director of “Here’s Hope” mission at Clear Springs Baptist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Kerbela Shriner. He was preceeded in death by grandson Ryan Brooks, parents Charlie and Lillie McDaniel, and father-in-law S.E. McGinnis. Survivors include Loving wife of 44 years Cathy McGinnis McDaniel, daughter Jill Brooks, special grandson Nicholas Brooks, special granddaughter Alyssa Brooks, sister Peggy Wilson (Jack) of Michigan, brother Bobby McDaniel (Ethel) of Corryton, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Richard &Debbie Young, mother-in-Law Ruthie McGinnis, as well as many nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or the Building Fund at Clear Springs Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 7 pm Friday at Clear Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Lynch & Rev. Jerry Vittatoe officiating. Family and Friends will meet at 1:45 PM Saturday at Graveston Cemetery for Internment at 2 PM. The Family will receive friends Friday 5-7 PM at Clear Springs Baptist Church.
