Charles "Chaz" Allen Cox

Charles “Chaz” Allen Cox, 28 of Knoxville, TN passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2025. Born October 16, 1996, Chaz was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. Chaz was a graduate of Karns High School and a longtime employee of Alpine Ski Center, Knoxville. He had also recently expanded his employment by joining the Mountain Motorsport family in Kodak, TN. Chaz was a hard-working, energetic, kindhearted young man with big dreams for the future. His passions were snowboarding and dirt biking. He was introduced to snowboarding and dirt biking by his uncle, Brad, and especially loved their many times together enjoying these sports. He also had a great love for his pets, his music, and the great outdoors. His circle of friends is too large to count. He had a heart of gold and shared that giving spirit with everyone he met in life. Chaz leaves behind his loving mother and best friend, Angela G. Cox, Grandmother Linda H. Cox, Uncle Bradley J. Cox, Niece Keeley S. Cox, his “Brother by Heart” Mason Alexander, half-siblings: Brendan Brock, Caitlyn Snell, Madison Mabe, and Eden Campbell, and many cousins, other family members and friends who will sadly miss him. He was also predeceased by his loving Grandfather and namesake, Charles James Cox. A celebration of life is scheduled for March 20, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel. Friends and family may visit from 5pm-7pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7pm.
