Charles Albert Mckee

Charles Albert McKee, age 82, of Knoxville passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on July 24, 2018. Charles was of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the U.S. Army and also a retired building contractor after many years. Preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Lucecil McKee. Survived by ex-wife and caregiver, Mary McKee; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Manuela McKee of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Jane McKee and Brian Behnke of Hilton Head, SC; grandsons, Daniel and Marcus McKee of Knoxville; step grandchildren, Jack Behnke of Minnesota and Casey Behnke of South Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Clayton and Georgia McKee of Powell; sisters, Helen Burgin of Hixson, TN, Jessie Elkins of Powell, Pauline Walker of Powell and Betty Jo McKee of Powell; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Doug Underwood of Knoxville. Family and friends will meet 11:15am, Tuesday July 31, 2018, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:30am.
