Cecil Claude Foster

Cecil Claude Foster, age 86, passed away at home in Heiskell January 2, 2014. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and retired from Avondale Farms. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of Valley Lodge # 383 of Andersonville, and the Scottish Rite of Knoxville. Preceded in death by twin daughters; parents, Arthur and Alice Foster; eight brothers; and one sister, Dora Foster Cox. Survived by beloved wife, Bertha Foster of 64 years; son, Mark Foster and fiancée Cindy Hendrickson; grandsons, Zach and wife Jenny Foster, and Josh Foster; special niece, Sheilda Clark; and several other nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Amedisys Hospice for their care and the third floor staff of North Knoxville Medical Center, and Norris Health and Rehab. Funeral service 8:00 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Charlie Tindell and Rev. Charles Hatmaker officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:45 am Tuesday at Zion Hill Cemetery for 12 Noon interment. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
