Cathy Merrell Palmer

Catherine “Cathy” Merrell Palmer age 64 of Powell, passed away suddenly Monday, March 13, 2023 at her home.  She was an employee and loved by the Knox County Property Assessor’s Office for over 10 years. Cathy was a 1976 high school graduate of Carter High School.  Preceded in death by parents; Bill and Jackie Merrell; brother, Bryan Clarke Merrell.  Survivors: brother and sister-in-law, Stacy and Susan Merrell. Sister-in-law: Mary Ann Merrell.  Nieces: Courtney (David) Johnson, and Jennye Merrell.  Great Niece: Sunday Johnson and great nephew: William Johnson.  Furbabies: Sasha and Selah.  Special friends: Norma Daniel, Jackie Raley, Judy Moore and Telena Hodges.  The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, calls and love during this time.   The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 4:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service Rev.
