Cathy Lou Mynatt Atkins

Cathy Mynatt Atkins age 67, of Corryton, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. She was a member of the Vintage Street Rod Association. She enjoyed attending car shows and knitting in her spare time, but more than anything she loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was born on June 14, 1957, to her late parents, Ralph and Margaret Mynatt. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ronald Atkins, son, Chris Atkins and daughter-in-law, Lora, grandchildren: Timothy (Kendal) Atkins, Sarah (Yeysson) Ayala, and Bradley Atkins; great-grandchildren, Brinnley Munsey, Clifton Atkins, Liam Ayala, Kayley Ayala, and Khelen Atkins; and sister, Karen (Robert) Taylor. The family would like to send a special thanks to Cathy’s Applebee’s (Knoxville Center Drive) friends for all their love and support. The family will receive friends Friday, November 22, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a 7:00 pm memorial service.
