Catherine Fox

Catherine E. Fox, age 78, of Powell, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 12th, 2017. She was a senior member of First Baptist Powell for 64 years and retired from East Tennessee Natural Gas after 34 years of service. She loved to read, was a country music fan, and always put others before herself. She was a loving a caring wife of 38 years, and a devoted mother for 60 years. She was preceded in death by parents Roosevelt and Kate Profitt Eads, and brothers Don Eads, Ted Eads, and Roy Profitt. She is survived by her husband Jim Fox, son Jack Lee Wade, and wife Debbie, step-daughters Tammy Brantley and Candie Fox, grandchildren Ben and Brittney Brantley, Bethany and Rusty Jenkins, and Brianne Howell, great-grandchildren, Cole and Lexie Jenkins, and Ava Howell, nieces April, Naomi, and Tyler Mayes, and Teona and Kristen McCormick, and numerous extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: American Diabetes Association.
