Carolyn Sue Seagle, a caring wife, mother, nana, sister and friend passed away peacefully on February 12, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born on April 1st 1942 in Elizabethton TN. She grew up in Oak Ridge TN, where she met her husband Ronald Seagle and married on June 29th 1959. Carolyn devoted her life to loving her husband, five children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She enjoyed making scrapbooks for her grandchildren, sewing, collecting antiques, staying in her camper at Outdoor Resorts and attending all of her family’s events, no matter how big or small. Preceded in death by her parents Aurther and Florence Pierce. Survived by her husband and true love of 62 years, Ronald Eugene Seagle; sister Lucy Cagley (George), brother-in-law Melvin Seagle (Julie); children Ronald Seagle Jr, Steven Seagle (Cathy), Jeffery Seagle (Susan), Scot Seagle (Stephanie); daughter, Susan Felpel (Gary); grandchildren, Whitney Hargis (Kevin), Allie Seagle, Ashley Seagle, Taylor Nobles (Caleb), Mac Seagle (Kayla), Madison Hazelwood (Joshua), Erika Felpel, Keller Seagle, and Cade Seagle; great-grandchildren, Corbin Hargis, Delaney Hargis, Hayes Nobles, Ada Hargis and Emerson Nobles; nephews, Mitch Parker (Tammy) and Tracy Parker. The family extends sincere appreciation to Dr. Lett, Dr. Lyons and Fresenius Medical Care for years of care and compassion. To the staff as Mynatt Funeral Home-we would like to send a special thank you for support and care you provided during a very hard time. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, February 22nd from 6:00-8:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, 2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918 with service immediately to follow with Rev Thomas Sweet officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, February 23rd at 1:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel to begin the procession to East TN Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for a 2:00pm graveside service.
