Carolyn J. Starks

Carolyn Starks, age 77, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord June 17, 2020. She was originally from New York State but spent many years in the Philadelphia area before settling in Knoxville. Carolyn was a member of Arlington Church of Christ and had retired from Oak Ridge Veterinary Hospital. She was preceded in death by father, Morgan Burdick, mother, Myra Sculley, unborn great grandchild, Oliver, as well as several siblings. Survivors include daughter, Sherri Guyette and husband Gary, grandchildren, Zachary Guyette and wife Jessalyn, Shaun Guyette, and Melanie Guyette, sister, Sharon McEwan and husband Gary, and several nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hope Central/Just Lead, c/o Arlington Church of Christ, 2206 Tecoma Drive, Knoxville, TN 37917. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be held 3 pm, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Arlington Church of Christ with Minister Mark Brackney officiating. The family will receive friends 2-3 pm beforehand.
