Carolyn G. Parker

Carolyn Gail Parker of Halls passed away peacefully on Monday, September 20th at Park West Hospital in Knoxville. She is survived by her faithful husband of over 50 years, Danny Parker, along with their children, Kellie Garner (Preston) of Seymour, Jennifer Ramos (Andy) of Knoxville, and Matthew Parker (Megan) of Knoxville. She is also survived by siblings Danny Kelley (Terri) of Knoxville, Jackie Long (Steve) of Maryville, and Debbie Porter (Bobby) of Georgia. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Heiskell Kelley and mother, Eunice Kelley, and sister Janice Kelley of Maynardville. Carolyn was a kind, gentle, caring, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother to 13 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren. Carolyn will be sadly missed by friends and family and will always be known for her servant’s heart and love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A call at convenience with be held on Tuesday, September 28th from 2:00-7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 for a 12:30 pm graveside service on Wednesday, September 29th at 12:30pm at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Highway).
