Carolyn Faye Mincey

Carolyn Lee Mincey, age 73, of Knoxville, passed away February 27, 2014 at Holston Health and Rehab. She was a member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband Rev. Joel F. Mincey, daughter Debra Mincey, and parents Carroll and Aileen Lee. Survivors include daughter Lee Ann Mincey and Phillip Chalmers of Northville, MI., and Jan Mincey of Knoxville, grandchildren Michelle Douglas and husband James, and Brittany Tipton, brothers Kenneth Lee and wife Ruth Ann, and Mike Lee. Funeral service will be 3 PM Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Rev. Charles Fritz officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Monday at Woodlawn Cemetery for interment at 11 AM. The family will receive friends 1-3 PM Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
