Carolyn Ann Foster

Carolyn Smart Foster, 80, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2022 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Carolyn was loved by all who knew her and will be missed. Preceded in death by husband Lance Curtis Foster, daughter Kimberly Foster, parents Rev. and Mrs. Haskew Smart, stepmother Betty Manis Smart, sister and brother-in-law Jean and Johnny Rhyne, brother and sister-in-law Johnny and Janice Smart. Survived by daughter and son-in-law Kristi and Russ Bailey, son and daughter-in-law Todd and Angela Foster, sisters and brothers-in-law Alice and Glen Laws, Terry and Kenny Widener, grandchildren Hunter and Autumn Bowling, Ridge Bailey and Landon Foster, step-siblings Jan and Jim Rector, Eddie and Robby Manis, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Special thanks to the neuro nurses, Macy and Brad, for their care and concern for mom. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Friday, June 17, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Toby Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15am Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00am interment.
