Carol Jean Yow Stratton

Carol Yow Heitkamp Stratton, age 73, of Powell, TN, formerly of Greensboro and Reidsville, NC, passed away June 8, 2016. She was of the Baptist Faith. Carol graduated from Alamance High School and Guilford College and retired from Dillard Paper Company. She was preceded in death by parents Cletus William, Sr. and Epsie Myrtle Yow, sister Betty Yow Reynolds, first husband Barry Heitkamp, and second husband Malcum “Smokey” Stratton. Survivors include sisters Margaret Elaine Moser and husband Myrl, brother Cletus William Yow, Jr. and wife Melisa June Edwards Yow, brother Claude Jasper Yow and wife Frances McGinly Yow, brother-in-law Harry Reynolds, as well as many step-children, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
