Carl William Massengill

Carl William Massengill, age 52, of Andersonville went to his forever home on July 28, 2018. He was a good soul who never met a stranger and was always eager to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a proud gardener. His most precious enjoyment was spending time with his daughter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Beulah (Wamack) Massengill; and brothers, Charlie Massengill and Rusty Massengill. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Massengill; sisters, Teresa Sutherland, Charlene Crawford and Rosa Thomas. Carl is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family, along with several close friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, followed by the funeral service at 8:00 p.m., with Rev. Jason Nicely officiating. Family and friends will gather at Mynatt Funeral Home in Halls, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 and proceed to Zion Hill for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment.
