Carl Walter Wilkerson

Carl Walter Wilkerson, age 83, of Knoxville, passed away May 18, 2013. He was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. He retired from Knoxville Iron Works. Preceded in death by wife, Virginia Lee Wilkerson, parents, Oliff and Maggie Wilkerson, and brother, Bob Wilkerson. Survived by daughters, Mylinda and husband Byron Wyrick, Lorrie and husband William Thomas, grandchildren, Chris and wife Ashley, Cassandra and fiancé Scott, Matthew and girlfriend Kayla, and Kayla Thomas, brother, Junior Wilkerson, sisters, Ola Mae Wilkerson, Anna Belle Lyons, Helen Monroe, Ruth Martin, Geraldine Hansard, Pearl Wilkerson, Mildred Wilkerson, Teresa Wilkerson, and several nieces and nephews. Service will be 8pm Tuesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:15am Wednesday for procession to Bethany Cemetery for interment at 11am. Pallbearers: Chris Wyrick, Matthew Bruner, Scott Lampkin, Terry Wilkerson, Steve Hutton, and Robert Hansard. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
