Carl “Sonny” Huff, age 77, passed away unexpectedly June 29, 2015. He was a graduate of Halls High School Class of 1955 and graduated from LMU with a Bachelors degree in business administration. He was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church. After his tenure at Marlock, Inc., he embarked on his business career. Frameline gave him the opportunity to showcase his craftsmanship. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and had a great love for classic automobiles. He was a member of the Knoxville Rally Association, frequently participating in their rally runs. He enjoyed life and loved his family and dear friends. Sonny will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Preceded in death by father Carl W. Huff, Sr. and mother Ruth M. Huff, wife Carole C. Huff, uncle David Masters and aunt Marge Masters; brother-in-law Ronnie Chapman and sister-in-law Sandy Nichols. He is survived by son Scott Huff and wife Kathy Huff, grandson Kyle Cook-McCrary, granddaughter Molly Zade Huff, and grandson Zane Huff, nieces, Laurie Nichols, Susan Nichols, Allison Chambers and husband Jason Chambers, great-nephew Austin Boggs, great-nieces Kinsley and Addy Chambers, also survived by wife Nancy McCasland Huff and step-children Lisa McGregor, Donald McCasland, and Kevin D. McCasland, plus step-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5:30 – 7:30 pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with memorial service to follow at 7:30 pm. Family and friends will meet 12:45 pm Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery for 1:00 pm inurnment.
