Carl "Sherlie" Cole

Carl “Sherlie” Cole, age 87, went to be with the Lord January 15, 2017. He was a member of Glen Oak Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents Everett & Rettie Trentham Cole and three siblings. Survivors include children Rick Cole and Wife Donna, Eddie Cole and wife Nancy, and Suzanne Cole Strange and husband James, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and loved ones. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7 pm with Rev. Bob Zavattieri and Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating.
