Carl Jerome Woods

Carl Jerome Woods, age 79, of Knoxville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 20, 2017, surrounded by his wife and five children. He was a faithful member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church in Heiskell. Carl loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Clifford & Virgie Woods; and brother, Gerald Woods. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Loueva; daughter, Karen; sons, Tim, Donnie (Regina), Tony, Chris (Crystal); grandchildren, Aaron, Kristin, Heather, Hailey, Hunter, Jakob, Calah, Hutson, Sara Grace, Emily, and Conner; sister, Wanda (Cox) Byerley; brothers, Clifford Jr., Paul, Harold, Jim, and Steve; several nieces and nephews, and close family friend, Barb Knowlton. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm, Wednesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with service to follow at 8pm, with Rev. Donnie Woods, Rev. Jim Woods, and Rev. Ivan Kennedy officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10am, Thursday, and proceed to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for a graveside service at 11am. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be grandsons and Jim Collins and Randel Williams.
