Bruce Walton

Bruce Walton, Jr., age 83 of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on October 18, 2021. Mr. Walton proudly served his country with honor in the United States Navy from October 16, 1956 until January 27, 1962. He served on the U.S. Princeton and received an honorable discharge from the service. He was preceded by his father, mother, three siblings and daughter, Rodna D. Hemphill. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Sally R. Walton, and will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Vivian Asbury, Evanna Gresham, Melissa Long; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild (on the way). The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm in the chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, 2829 Rennoc Road, Knoxville, with a funeral Service following at 6:00 pm with Craig Walton officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday, October 25, 2021 by 9:45 am at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Hwy. for a 10:00 am graveside service.
