Brian Randall Cooper (53), of Halls passed on to be with His Father in Heaven on Wednesday morning July 6, 2016. Brian was born & raised in Knoxville TN (Halls Crossroads). He was a welder by trade graduating from Tidewater Community College in Virginia. He was on the honor roll and received the Distinguished Student Award maintaining GPA of 3.5 also being recognized on the Dean’s list as an all-around great Student. Brian received a scholarship from the American Welders Society. He defined the title “Handyman”- he could fix anything and was a wonderful southern cook. He was a Member of Faithway Baptist Church in Halls. Brian was known for his devotion to his Mother and Daughter. He treasured his time with his daughter and was so very proud of her and her achievements. He made sacrifices for them that most people will never understand. He was a very loving & kind brother and always protected his sisters at any costs. His joy and laughter was contagious. He was a servant after Gods own heart. He gave to others with his time, love, & encouragement. Preceded by: Mother Louise Cooper, Father Herbert Cooper, Brother Terry Cooper, Sister-in-law Pat Cooper. Survived by: Daughter- Beth Cooper, Grand-daughter- Isabella Cooper, Grandson- Jayden Vance, Sisters- Darlene Blair & (husband-Dennis Blair), Sister- Violet Carr, Brothers- Timmy & Clayton Cooper, Nephews: Richard, Chris, Steven, Allen, David, Ronald, Michael, Kendall, Glen, Timmy, Daniel, Matthew, Nieces: Julie, Angie, Whitney, other close family members: Edwina Blair & Jamie Byrd. Service 6 pm Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family will receive friends 4 to 6 pm Sunday at Mynatt funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
