Brenda Spears Easterday

Brenda F. Spears Easterday, 72 of Knoxville passed away quietly at home surrounded with her girls on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Brenda was of the Baptist Faith. She loved gardening, spending time outdoors poolside, and had a great love for animals. She was a loving wife to her best friend and husband Frank, a loving mother to her daughters and Nana to her grandchildren. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ruby Spears; her husband, Frank; an infant son, Thomas Roy Easterday and three siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Renee (Billy) Franks, Regina (Larry) Long and Lisa (Jeff) Lowery; grandchildren, Peyton, Noelle, Lindsey, Dane, Addison, Cash, Katie and Sadie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Amedisys Hospice Staff. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 4, 7 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, 2829 Rennoc Road, in Fountain City (865) 688-2331, Rev. James Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 on Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet Friday at 12:45pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1 pm interment.
