Brenda Norris Chapman Monroe

Brenda Norris Chapman Monroe, age 77 of Knoxville, passed away December 14, 2020. She was a life-long member of Highland View Baptist Church. She was a 1961 graduate of Halls High School and retired from Levi’s after 35 years of service. Brenda had a heart of gold and a love of photography. Preceded in death by parents Jess Eugene Norris and Bertha Norris Weaver and sister Margaret DeVault. Survived by loving husband C. Bart Monroe, children Randy Chapman and Jeff (Susan) Chapman, step-daughter Tammy Monroe, grandchildren Holly Chapman, Maegan (Matthew) Lay, Drew Chapman, Sydney Chapman, and Whitney Caudle, great-grandchildren Merrick and Maelynn Lay, Arahbella Stearns, sister Wanda (Bob) Fraker, several nieces and nephews, special friend Doris Whitson and many more. Friends may call at their convenience 9:00am-6:00pm Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. At Brenda’s request, all other services will be private. Interment will take place at Fort Sumter Community Cemetery, Rev. Roy LaRue and Rev. Terry Walker officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
