Brenda Mae Tallent

Brenda Mae Tallent, age 75, passed away on October 11, 2024. Brenda loved cooking shows, crafts, softball, bowling, the Vols, and her family-especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brenda was a devoted member of Faithway Missionary Baptist Church. She was married to her husband, Ralph, for 56 wonderful years. Brenda always helped anyone she could and had a giving heart.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Tallent; daughter, Staci Crosswhite (husband Sean Asbury); son, Jason Tallent (Angel Tallent); sister, Joann Kiser (husband Don); brother, Johnny Huskey, Sr (wife Marianne); sister, Bernice Julian (husband Steve); sister-in-law, Rosemary Huskey; grandchildren, Chanel Summers and Jeffrey Summers, as well as 5 great-grandchildren.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alpha Huskey; brothers, Jimmy and Buddy Huskey; and a sister, Nancy Graves.

A memorial service for Brenda will be announced at a later date.
